Clarity – IPTV Player

Copyright and rights holders

Last updated: 2 October 2026 · For rights holders, their representatives and public authorities.

In short: Clarity is a media player. It contains no channel, film, series or playlist, and we host, index and link to none. We respect intellectual property and we act on every notice we can act on. Write to focus.target.app@gmail.com.

1. What Clarity is, and is not

Clarity – IPTV Player is a general-purpose media player published by FOCUS TESTING LTD (England and Wales, company number 15429929). Like a web browser or a video player on a computer, it plays the streams and playlists (M3U playlists, Xtream Codes accounts) that each user adds on their own device.

  • The app is delivered empty: no channel, film, series or playlist is included, not even a free one.
  • We do not host, transmit, store, index, recommend or link to any audiovisual content.
  • We are not affiliated with any content or IPTV provider, we sell no TV subscription, and we receive no payment from any provider.
  • Our terms of use forbid using Clarity to access content distributed without the permission of its rights holders, and every user must accept them before using the app.

2. What we can do

  • End a user's access. Under section 11 of the terms of use, we may suspend or end access to Clarity Premium and to the sync service, without refund, when we have reasonable grounds to believe that the app is used for infringing content. We act when a notice gives us what we need to identify a Clarity account or a Clarity Premium purchase.
  • Act against misuse of our name. Tell us about any website, seller, app or listing that uses the Clarity name or logo to sell channels, playlists or subscriptions, or that distributes a copy of Clarity bundled with a playlist. They are not ours, and we will ask for their removal.
  • Correct our own material. If anything on this website, in our store listings or in the app itself (text, image, screenshot, logo) infringes your rights, we will remove or replace it.
  • Cooperate. We answer rights holders and comply with binding orders of courts and competent authorities.

3. What we cannot do

  • Remove a stream, a channel or a playlist. They are not on our systems. Only the provider that distributes them, or its hosting company, can take them down.
  • Tell you what a user watches or which sources they use. Sources, credentials and history stay on the user's device. When a user syncs several devices, this data is encrypted on the device with a key we never receive: our server holds an unreadable block (see the privacy policy).
  • Identify a user by name. Clarity asks for no name, email address or phone number.

If your notice concerns a provider of streams, please send it to that provider, to its hosting company or to its payment processor: they are the ones who can stop the distribution.

4. How to send us a notice

Write to focus.target.app@gmail.com with the subject "Copyright notice – Clarity", in English if possible, and include:

  1. your name, organisation, postal address and email address;
  2. the rights holder you act for, and the basis of your authority to act;
  3. the work or works concerned (for example the channel, the competition, the film or the catalogue);
  4. what you are reporting and where we can see it: a web address, a store listing, a screenshot, or any element that links it to Clarity or to a Clarity user;
  5. what you ask us to do;
  6. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use you report is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law, and that the information in your notice is accurate;
  7. your signature (a typed name is enough).

Notices by post can be sent to: FOCUS TESTING LTD, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

5. What happens next

We read every notice and aim to reply within 5 working days. We may ask for further information. When a notice is complete and concerns something we control, we act on it and tell you what we did. When it concerns something we do not control, we tell you so and, where we can, point you to who does.

Notices that are knowingly false or abusive may be disregarded.

6. Courts and authorities

Requests and orders from courts, regulators and law enforcement can be sent to the email or postal address above. Please state the legal basis of the request. We can only disclose what we hold, which is described in the summary table of the privacy policy.

7. If you are a Clarity user

If your access was suspended and you believe a mistake was made, write to focus.target.app@gmail.com and explain why. We review every request.
